STEAKFACE
Back in the early 90s Ten Hands was playing a gig at SXSW
in Austin. After the show a guy gave Joe Cripps, the percussionist at the time, a slip of paper that read something like..
" I am T Bone Burnett, if you havent been discovered yet , I would love to discover you.." and then a phone number.
We were pretty damn sure we were on our way to the big time.
He was after all, one of the top producers in the world.
What followed was a year and a half of frustration, disappointment, malaise
and finally rejection.
Somewhere in there we made this 4 song demo for T Bone
so he could shop us around.
gary muller stick
earl harvin drums

steve brand guitar bk vox
By the way, Steakface was our nickname for T Bone
who was a very nice man, no hard feelings.
